New Coat of Arms, Changing the State Flag

The Emperor today met with Chancellor Scott for the first time since Helveticana's return from inactivity, and together they ratified a new imperial decree that established an official coat of arms for the Empire and changed the state flag. The new coat of arms is based off that of the now-defunct German Democratic Republic.

The new state flag is the national flag with the coat of arms in the center.

This is the first major change since Helveticana's reactivation one week ago. The Emperor hopes that this is the first of many changes to revitalize the Empire.

Helveticana Returns!

After almost nine months of inactivity, the Emperor declared today that the Soviet Socialist Empire of Helveticana was to be revived. In January of this year, the Emperor's project of managing a micronation became overshadowed, and for most of this year almost nothing happened within the Empire.
"I'm very sorry that I let Helveticana lose so much activity." Said Emperor Adovich Daviovsky. "The Empire was just starting to reach out into the micronational community, and I could see that it had potential. I hope that these months of being away don't hurt our chances too much. I will do what I can to restore what we had and gain the friendship of the micronational community."
Helveticana may need some time to work out matters of internal affairs and revise the structure of the nation. One item on the Emperor's agenda is to create a stronger culture and sense of national identity. Then the Empire will attempt to gain a standing within the MicroWiki community.

The Empire Expands with the Passage of the Latest Imperial Decree

Yesterday, Imperial Decree IX was passed, expanding the territorial claim of the Empire. The Decree established three new land claims. The first was the expansion of the Province of Navallia to include most of the peninsula into the lake that it and Adamsburg lie next to.

The second land claim was of a single bedroom, which has become the Province of Amoria. The third claimed a portion of land stretching outwards 100 meters from the road that Amoria is on, and is titled as the Hickory Territory.

In other news, yesterday, 18 January, marked one year since the founding of the Republic of Alamantia, which was the Emperor's first attempt at creating a micronation. Alamantia was co-founded by the now-Emperor and his friend Joseph Islam. While the micronation enjoyed some time of prosperity, and even reached above 30 registered citizens, Alamantia is now currently inactive.

Helveticana Reforms with the Adoption of New Constitution

Today, the former State of Helveticana reformed itself into an empire when its president ratified a new constitution. The new constitution, which is fifteen pages long (including the title page) and consisting of more than 3800 words reestablished Helveticana as an empire with socialist values and crowned the previous president, Adam Judge, as the first Emperor.
The main reasoning for this change was that the previous constitution was badly written and established a shaky government. The new constitution was written with hopes of making Helveticana a larger micronational power and a generally greater nation for its people.

The Emperor states that he will spend the first few days to few weeks of his reign working on laws to solidify the internal affairs of the Empire, such as working out provincial borders, appointing government members, and finding new citizens, but after that he plans on attempting to enter the micronational community by trying to establish foreign relations. The Emperor also stated that while for the time being, he will go by "Emperor Adam I," he plans on trying to come up with an alias for himself, as so that there will not be confusion between him and Emperor Adam I of Adammia.
